{"id":3012,"date":"2023-03-28T13:28:10","date_gmt":"2023-03-28T11:28:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/1943.pl\/en\/?page_id=3012"},"modified":"2023-04-04T11:04:49","modified_gmt":"2023-04-04T09:04:49","slug":"operation-reinhardt-educational-materials","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/old1943.mobilems.pl\/en\/operation-reinhardt-educational-materials\/","title":{"rendered":"Operation Reinhardt \u2013 Educational Materials"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-background has-very-light-gray-background-color\"><strong>The Education Department of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum has prepared educational materials about Operation Reinhardt. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"283\" src=\"http:\/\/old1943.mobilems.pl\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/03\/mapa-1-300x283-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3013\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022, we had been commemorating the 80th anniversary of Operation Reinhardt &nbsp;\u2014 the German Nazis operation which led to extermination of nearly 2 million Jews from the<strong> General Government <\/strong>and <strong>Bialystok District<\/strong>. The operation was named after <strong>Reinhard Heyrdich <\/strong>who called the Wannsee Conference. Aktion Reinhardt was led by the SS leader of the Lublin District,  SS-Brigadef\u00fchrer&nbsp;<strong>Odilo Globocnik<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During Operation Reinhardt, the Jewish citizens were being exterminated in their homes as well as in the extermination camps, such as <strong>Be\u0142\u017cec<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Sobib\u00f3r&nbsp;<\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong>Treblinka<\/strong>.
